    Backwards compatibility (original Xbox to 360)


    hi, just bought lord of the rings return of the king and the third age from a reliable source, both from the original xbox, when i try to play them on my 360, the resolution is messed up, the screen is a small square in the middle of the screen and it
    cuts half out, ive trued other games and they seem to work fine, please if anyone could help me that would be great Backwards compatibility (original Xbox to 360) :)

    Mercenaries is a Xbox Original game, I'm not sure if it can be played on the Xbox 360, some xbox original games are no longer compatible with Xbox 360 backward compatibility.

    Have you played other Original Xbox games on your Xbox 360?

    Backwards compatibility requires an original Xbox 360 Hard disc with the pre-installed backwards compatibility software. If the disc is wiped, this is lost.
