    Backwards compatibility not working


    Traded in my xBox One for the xBox One X this weekend. 360 games worked on the "old" xBox but not on the XB one X. I've did several soft resets, three or four factory restore with keep games and apps, one full factory reset and several other recommendations
    I've found online, none work! I've tried several backward compatible 360 disks, all work on my 360 so it's not a disk problem, one digital 360 game, it does not work either. Blu Ray movies play, DVD movies play, and xbox one games no problem. Thinking of returning
    the console and trying another new one. Any other suggestions before I do that?

    Backward Compability Disc Question

    They will work as long as they are backwards compatible. If they're not backwards compatible, then they won't work on anything other than a 360 console.

    The One store/website have never been updated to work with the currency system for backwards compatible content. The only way to purchase backwards compatible games with the funds on your account is through a 360 console.

    No. Minecraft is not backwards compatible.

    There has been no announcement about all 360 games working on the One. Only games that are backwards compatible will work.
