    Backwards compatibility not working


    Hi I have tried several games and it is not working. The game loads up the screenshot (splinter cell it is Fisher above a city scapescape) but then I am returned to the Xbox one home screen. EverEverything else including Xbox one games, DVDs etc work .Just
    not backwards compatibility. I have tried holding power button for ten seconds and removing then adding my profile. Still doing it.

    My region is Russia, but it still not working. I just cant get any Backward Compatibility games.

    Have you tried uninstalling the game and re-installing it? Also, is it a disc game or digital game?

    Hi Brad it was a disc mate. I haven't tried an uninstall and reinstall yet. I'll try that now.

    Yes it did, thank you. I did as you asked for Splinter Cell and it worked fine. I am going to uninstall and re-install Forza as these are the only two games affected.

    Backward Compability Disc Question

    They will work as long as they are backwards compatible. If they're not backwards compatible, then they won't work on anything other than a 360 console.

    The One store/website have never been updated to work with the currency system for backwards compatible content. The only way to purchase backwards compatible games with the funds on your account is through a 360 console.

    No. Minecraft is not backwards compatible.

    There has been no announcement about all 360 games working on the One. Only games that are backwards compatible will work.
