Backwards Compatibility Not Downloading Profile

Originally the BC games worked properly for months. Sometime after BLOPS 2 went BC, all BC games stopped connecting to Xbox Live. I thought it was a problem with Preview Program, so I left the program and factory reset. Now for more than two months, I can
not successfully complete "Getting your Xbox 360 info.." and it does not Download my profile. It merely states to test connection with no error code.

My connection has Open NAT and download speeds are around 20mbs with 200 ping.

I have "Cleared local 360 storage" over 10 times alone tonight. In the past, I tried with and without two step verification. I have tried changing DNS to Google DNS. I have tried VPN through router. I have the Xbox in DMZ. I have tried wired, wireless, and
tethered connections.

I can not think of any other option for this problem.

Backwards Compatibility only works for full titles that are available on the backwards compatibility list. Game Demos are not included in the backwards compatibility feature. If you want to try a specific Xbox 360 game out before purchasing and downloading,
you will need to download the demo on an actual Xbox 360 console.

It uses the word downloading not installing. So methinks it will d/l a version that is compatible with the X1's architecture.

Thank you for your advice. Unfortunately, Vietnam is not an option in the system location settings on the Xbox One. My home country is USA, as well as billing address.

Have you tried deleting you Xbox 360 profile? To do so you should launch a BC game and then press the "start" and "back" button located in the middle of your controller to bring up the guide. Once that is done go to the bottom and click "manage storage".
From there you will be shown your saved games and profiles. Go to profiles and delete the profile you're having trouble with, then download it again. That worked for me as I was having the same issue as you. Sorry if this didn't help.

If you're currently located in Vietnam you run into issues such as the one you're describing. Unfortunately, Vietnam is not an Xbox Live supported region which explains why you might be having trouble with downloading your profile. We're always look to extend

Thank you Mister Maka. This unfortunate, particularly since it was working for almost a full year and I have purchased many 360 games. I find it quite disappointing it would suddenly stop working.

Oh well, sounds like there isn't much of a solution until Vietnam is added.
