    Backwards Compatibility - No Just Backwards -The Death of Snap WHY?


    Why oh why was SNAP removed?

    Snap was a major selling point for me as I am divorced and would use Skype whilst gaming with my kids.

    I do think it was part of the sales package and is still advertised on this site as a feature so under consumer law its not as advertised so a refund is legal. Raising a small be required as MS wont just give a refund. As for upvoting in feature request
    Snapping had many requests with users wanting more features not its removal. Basically without admitting it MS is saying the "ONE" idea is dead, which for me is a shame as I loved.

    Just search SNAP to get you refund evidence or on

    There is no specific date of when the growing list of backwards compatible games will be readily available but I would recommend keeping an eye on Major Nelson's site, found here:
    Xbox Live's Major Nelson and also the backwards compatibility site here:

    Just be patient and stay tuned!

    Yes it is still backwards compatible. You can the list of backwards compatible games here.

    I'm not sure why it wouldn't be working. Have you had any issues with other backwards compatible games before?
