Backwards Compatibility: No 360 Profile

So I have an Xbox One, and I have a backwards compatible Xbox 360 game (Deus Ex: Human Revolution) but I never owned an Xbox 360 Console and therefore cannot sign in or save my progress when playing a backwards compatible game. Is there a way around this?

No, there's no backwards compatibility. No 360 titles will work on the One

@The Dukenator, I think OP is having the same issue as me and have never owned a 360 either. Whenever i try to start any game in BC mode it doesn't recognize my GT and when i try to force download the profile by pressing the view and menu button it gives
me an error that the profile cannot be downloaded at this time 8015000A after i put in my credentials.

try the steps here
support.xbox.com/.../cant-play-downloaded-content its for when your having with the 8015000A.

Also the profile you made on the Xbox ONE would be the same one you can use on Xbox 360. I have switched from Xbox 360 to Xbox ONE and now getting most of my games I had to play back again, if the problem is still around please contact Xbox LIVE support
via the website or phone in though I would suggest going via the website to talk to someone from the gaming section

In order to play backwards compatible titles after a gamertag change, all you would need to do is re-download your profile from the Xbox 360 Menu on a backwards compatible title. That should fix it.

If it's backwards compatible it would only be available on the Xbox One as a backwards compatible game. Not on the 360

There are backwards compatible games available for the 360. Black is one of them.

You need to have your Xbox 360 profile downloaded on your Xbox One console while playing Xbox 360 backwards compatible games. You can try to delete and re-download it by trying these steps below:

*Launch the Xbox 360 Backwards Compatible Game

*While on the loading screen, press the Menu and View Button at the same time (Two small buttons at the center of the controller)

*Once you successfully pressed the two buttons, the Xbox 360 Guide Button should show up

*From there, you have an option to Delete or Download Your Profile

Try those steps, make sure that your profile is downloaded and signed in, then launch the Xbox 360 Backwards Compatible Game again.

Hi, normally you'd need to open the Xbox 360 guide, you do that by pressing the view and menu buttons at the same time on your controller while the backwards compatible game is running, you'll then see the option to download your Xbox 360 profile in the
guide. That should then enable you to play your backwards compatible games without being nagged at to download your profile maybe.
