    Backwards Compatibility Local Save Option?

I unfortunately am one of the poor souls who doesn't have internet access at home. In order to do system updates I have to drive 30min away and get a $60 hotel room with WiFi. Is there any idea when backwards compatible games will have the local hard drive
saving option? Otherwise backwards compatibility is useless to people such as myself that cannot save game progress.

    Thanks!

P.S. I'm new to posting on the forum, sorry if I'm in the wrong place...

    :)

  4. Backwards Compatibility Local Save Option?

Hi, I don't think it is coming, as even Xbox One games don't have a local save option. If you would like that option though, then you should make a post on the Xbox feedback site xbox.uservoice.com.

I'm not sure I stated the question right? I can save my Xbox one game progress/data to my Xbox one hard drive. The backwards compatibile games however require using the internet based "Cloud Storage" which I cannot access (due to lack of internet).

Bought Bully Scholarship and I cant play it

Hi there, you're welcome! No please don't delete the games you have installed. There should be an option on Xbox series S as well to delete local save storage for xbox 360. Since Xbox 360 backwards compatible games also runs on Xbox one up to Xbox series X.

Try going to Settings > System > Storage > Clear local Xbox 360 storage this option should show up. It will delete the saved games locally but the cloud saves will remain.

Transfer content from Xbox 360 to Xbox One

saves for backward compatible games have to be moved to the cloud. Then the Xbox One will be able to detect them when you launch the game. there is no other option.
