  1. Backwards Compatibility Live Issues

A majority of the time when I try to play any backwards compatible game which supports Xbox Live I am asked to login to profile on the Xbox 360 VM(virtual machine) but my gamertag is grayed out like it is already in use. I have multiple Xbox Live accounts
so I just log into a different one instead. As I try to login to a different gametag on the Xbox 360 VM I am brought back to the Xbox Ones login screen and it wants me to switch to said profile so I do that and the game crashes. Sometimes it wont even let
me try to login to an account on the Xbox 360 VM, I will press "A" on the account and it will do nothing.

When logging in does work on a backwards compatible game my account is not grayed out or it just automatically logs in.

My internet connection is stable and can connect to the Xbox Live server just fine on any Xbox One game, it's just an issue with backwards compatible games. It's also not an issue of Gold Membership as I have paid and most of these games just require an
Xbox Live account and not the membership as I'm not playing online. I have tried a hard reset, soft reset, redownloading the profiles and even formatting the console with no prevail.. it seems to no happen when the Xbox One is set to offline mode.

Does anyone else have this issue?

    Thanks in advance,

I've got an 80151906 error code and can't connect to the network?

I'm currently having the same exact issue. I can't connect any of my backwards compatible games to Xbox Live on my Xbox One. I've restarted twice and checked my internet. Neither of these are the issues. My NAT is open and evrything else is fine. I can't
connect to Xbox Live on backwards compatible games at all!

Will the lord of the rings games becoming compatible

Hi, the main recommendation I'd give to you is to reach out to the publisher(s) of the games you want to see become backward compatible. In general, efforts to make games backward compatible can depend on many factors, including (but not limited to) the
involvement of the publishers, fan demand, and additional issues such as licensing of in-game assets.

For additional information on backward compatibility, I'd recommend reading this blog by Major Nelson (Xbox Live Director of Programming): https://majornelson.com/blog/xbox-one-backward-compatibility/
