Backwards Compatibility List

Just starting this to see if it will gain support and maybe be implemented if enough people want it. This will be a list of games the community would like to see added in the next batch of games. Please feel free to add to it as i personally have but one
series in mind. I would love to see the TimeSplitters Series added next as they were vastly popular and would be great to play once again.

Backward Compatibility

Hi, Backward Compatibility does work on the Xbox One, but only the ones on the backward compatible list.

www.xbox.com/.../backward-compatibility The list will be getting updated with more games every month. So keep an eye on that list, eventually your games may become compatible.

 

THQ Nordic now own the franchise. With how many games they have on tap I could easily see them giving us remasters if they don’t come to back compat.

 

Had no clue they bought the rights, whether it's a remaster or the original I would love to see these and others added next. Even more so after seeing the old swbf and kotor games added

 

A plethrora of threads with BC requests already exists...but I too, strongly support the proposal of Timesplitters! I had a blast with TS2 on Xbox and loved the playthrough styles!

However, they do not allow suggestions for BC games. If a Xbox users put a suggestion on there it will not be approved.

The best place to ask about a game being BC is to go to the developer/publisher directly. There is already a plethora of these kinds of threads on the forums. They eventually get locked.

Mega threads don't work anyway. Microsoft doesn't see them, the publishers don't see them, and they typically end up with requests for games that due to licensing issues can never be made BC.

A general rule of BC that you may not be aware of:

If a game you were hoping for is no longer available for purchase as digital download via an Xbox 360 console - or does not show a price via a search on the Xbox.com website, then, generally, it
CAN NOT be made BC.

 

Wish they added test drive unlimited to bc soon and the need for speed series

 

I would love to see some Sonic games such as Sonic Unleashed become BC because of the huge Sonic fan I am.

 

Didn't a list of those games come out in the previous load? Or are there still some they have missed

 

The last one that I remember was Generations but I may have missed some.
