    Backwards Compatibility Issues


    So recently, I been stuck trying to relive childhood memories. Xbox happens to be one of them. I went back playing through the old school Gears Of War games. Been going on weeks for a certain period of time with no issues at all. Then today it starts to pull my 360 info from the cloud, but makes 0 progress on the progress bar. Starts the loading process of the games. Then asks me to sign in, but when I do. Not one account is there on the 360 menu, emulator, whatever it’s called. All I know is I buy games, and play them. I selected download profile of course then it wants to say it can’t connect to Xbox Live. Which is the biggest **** ever. I done all the wifi tests, connection tests. NAT type, two factor authentication, cleared the local 360 storage. I’ve done everything I could possibly re search unless I missed something. Am I just screwed out of the money I spent to get these games? Or, is there a solution? Besides the same ole troubleshooting conversations. That lead to no response or resolution. I just want my games back cause I know my moneys long gone.

    Yes it is still backwards compatible. You can the list of backwards compatible games here.

    I'm not sure why it wouldn't be working. Have you had any issues with other backwards compatible games before?

    Are you able to test any other backwards compatible games?

    Generally issues with backwards compatible games on the 360 is down to the hard drive. A lot of third party purchases of hard drives tend to result in the hard drive being a knock off which will not work with backwards compatibility.
