    Backwards Compatibility Issue


    I tried putting my Mass Effect disc into my XB1 and it did not install. Came up saying reinstall app then the tile said insert disc like it hadn't been able to read it. ME is on the list for already being backwards compatible.

    Any ideas?

    Backwards Compatibility Issue

    I suggest you clean this disk, although the games are on the XBX LIVE servers it still needs to read the disc. If that dosen't work I would suggest you get another disk, trade it in and buy a new one or exchange it with another one!

    I got a new one for £6 on amazon and it worked straight away ( I then returned it as I didnt like it Backwards Compatibility Issue :(

    Yes it is still backwards compatible. You can the list of backwards compatible games here.

    I'm not sure why it wouldn't be working. Have you had any issues with other backwards compatible games before?

    Are you able to test any other backwards compatible games?

    Generally issues with backwards compatible games on the 360 is down to the hard drive. A lot of third party purchases of hard drives tend to result in the hard drive being a knock off which will not work with backwards compatibility.
