    Backwards Compatibility Issue (Friends List)


    I have just received the Gears of War titles as part of the backwards compatibility update and they are the first 360 games I have played (or attempted to play) as part of the update. However when I go onto to the games none of friends appear. I go to the
    360 dashboard and none of my friends are appearing there either. I am also not appearing on the my friend list of the specific friend I am trying play with. It is rendering me unable to play any of the games with any friends at the moment.

    Backward Compatibility

    Hi, Backward Compatibility does work on the Xbox One, but only the ones on the backward compatible list.

    www.xbox.com/.../backward-compatibility     The list will be getting updated with more games every month. So keep an eye on that list, eventually your games may become compatible.

    Destiny isn't yet on the backward compatibility list and if I'm honest I can't ever see it being on there.

    However if it were on the list, then yes you'd be able to play with your friends on their 360. The backwards compatible games are running in a virtual 360.

    Thanks for reaching out to us with this issue. At this time, Xbox is no longer taking suggestions for the list of backwards compatible games. The games that are listed on our

    360 Backward Compatible Available Games     list are the only ones that we have currently. The only way at this time to request your games for backwards compatibility is to contact the developer of the games directly and request that they do so.
