    Backwards compatibility install issue


    hi, I'm definitely part of the preview program and have purchased several 360 games which are on the current list of games like Mass Effect, Perfect Dark Zero and Kameo.

    I've inserted Mass Effect and installed no problem but Perfect Dark Zero and Kameo won't Install, when I select "install disc" it says "this game is not playable here".

    Is anyone else having this issue or knows if I'm doing something wrong..?

    Buying Xbox backwords compatible game's from Xbox 360 to play on Xbox one

    For digitally purchased games, as long as it is on the
    backward compatibility list    , the game will automatically show up in the "Ready to Install" list of the Xbox One so you can install and play from there.

    This is a known issue if you used the preview program you would see that.

    Use the app was the first thing I did, it didn't say anything about this when I first encounter the issue, but thanks I guess. >.>

    In 06.1 section of the preview forum in announcements Miss Portia as a list of titles which are BC.

    Sorry I misread what you said I know Mass effect is on the list not sure about the others.

    I haven't encountered this personally, but you'll want to post in the preview forums about this. That will make sure the appropriate team sees it. I would also make sure the disc is clean and free of scratches and fingerprints.

    I have the same problem, only ones I own and tried were Kameo and Perfect Dark. Oh yeah I could try Mass Effect.

    I definitely have the preview update, but my console registration still says "pending" and I get "Group not found" for the Preview forum.

    Guessing there's a few individual parts to the preview that have not yet aligned for me, well that's what I'm hoping anyway, it's been longer than 72 hours though, I accepted my invite Saturday, maybe weekends don't count.

    In order for you to install Backwards Compatible games you need to be a part of the Preview Program. Backwards Compatibility will not come to the general public until November. Once it is released to the public you should have no issues installing it.

    The game is not backwards compatible yet. Once it becomes backwards compatible, it'll show in your "Ready to Install" list.
