Backwards compatibility for game collections on discs

Hello. Would anyone be able to tell me if I can play Monkey island special edition on Xbox One from the special edition collection physical copy, please? For example Monkey Island Or Beyond good and evil HD from the Ubisoft
triple pack disk Ubisoft Triple Pack: Beyond Good & Evil / From Dust / Outland

I would backward compatibility support that Microsoft made these XBOX 360 games to XBOX ONE console:

My old Xbox 360 Games

If you are talking about backwards compatibility then no those games are not on the list of backward compatible games. The xbox 360 discs that work on xbox one can be found here:

If you mean will you get the xbox one version of those games for free then no, you have to buy the xbox one version of the game.

According to the list of
Backward Compatible games, it looks like Monkey Island SE and Beyond Good & Evil HD are both supported BC titles. If for some reason your discs don't work, feel free to update us so we can try some troubleshooting.

I just finished Monkey Island 1 and 2 from the collection discs, so hurray for that!

Now I'm curious about the other one.

Well... whaddayaknow.. I just bought the disk, and my console started installing BGE And Outland straight away.. From Dust isn't backwards compatible..but it's ok. It's good to know that games from collection disks may work, even if not all of the games
are backwards compatible..

Is the disc for a backwards compatible xbox360 game as only discs for backwards compatible games will register.

I believe the gta collection for xbox is backwards compatible, not sure on price but it may be a cheaper option for u and u will have it on disc

Only the HD collection is currently on backward compatible list.

You wont be able to play the standard game as it was developed for the original xbox in 2004.

To be able to play original xbox games on the 360 and One you need to download an emulator once you insert the disc. It works for all the games that is in the backward compatibility library.

Pre Squeal is not backwards compatible. You have to buy the Handsome collection on Xboxone to play it.
