    Backwards Compatibility Error


    Hello All,

    I’m having issues installing Splinter Cell: Blacklist from my Xbox 360 disc on to my Xbox One. I’ve checked to make sure and it is reading discs just fine, but whenever I input the disc or try to load it I’m told that it’s not backwards compatible. I’ve
    pulled it up on the store and seen it online, and I love this game to death but I would like to play my original copy instead of paying $20+ for something I already own. Would anyone be able to help? Thank you!

    Can't download game profile on any xbox 360 backward compatibility game

    Also error 80151904 what's happening to your backwards compatibility can't we just play it without our gamer tags because it's the one causing the error c'mon just do it for backwards compatibility pls

    halo reach not playable

    Halo Reach has now been added to the Backward Compatibility list yet I'm still receiving this error :|

    If You are Xbox Live Gold member and You got the game for Free last month so You can download the game on your Xbox. Using the Disc try a power cicle on your Xbox, press and hold Power Button for 10 seconds and wait 2 minutes then turn Xbox on again, after
    that see what happens when You use the Disc on your Xbox.

    Blacklist wasnt free with gold last month, it was Conviction.

    As for why it's not working, sometimes it takes longer for disc based installs to kick in before digital download. I'd try again tomorrow.

    This is a backward compatibility error, not a disc play. Googling the error code, I see that the problem has existed for years, in different people with different games for backward compatibility on disks. This site has hundreds of topics about this error,
    so it’s not about scratches on the disk...

    Can you please provide more information on the issues you are having with Backwards Compatible games. There is an ever growing list of games that are Backwards compatible.

    Are you getting any error codes that pop up about it?

    www.xbox.com/.../backward-compatibility    . The game is not currently compatible, that is why you are getting the error.
