Backwards compatibility - downloaded copy transfer issue

Sorry to hear about the issue! If you haven't already I suggest checking your
Xbox 360 purchase history to verify that Halo: Reach was purchased on your account. If you are able to see Halo: Reach in your history, I recommend trying a checking out our Backward Compatibility

Ah, that's your problem. If it was a physical disc, you still need that disc to play the backwards compatible game. Playing a physical copy, selling it, and expecting to be able to download the digital version is not how Backwards Compatibility works. You
will only be able to download digital copies of the game that were purchased via the Xbox Store on 360.

As mentioned by the others only a certain selection is currently backward compatible.

If it is a digital copy that you have you can check under the Ready to install section of your game library.

Disc copies of the backward compatible game, just put the disc in the console and it will download some software to be able to play the game.
