    Backwards compatibility does not work on the Xbox one!


    So I'm really getting angry with this whole backwards compatible crap! As is hundreds of people! The only reason I went with an Xbox one and not a PS4 was for the backwards compatibility, but it does not work!. Im tired of calling in with no success and
    no help on the forums. Its seems Microsoft stuck it to us! Time to get in touch with a lawyer, for false advertising of there system.

    Backward Compatibility

    Hi, Backward Compatibility does work on the Xbox One, but only the ones on the backward compatible list.

    www.xbox.com/.../backward-compatibility     The list will be getting updated with more games every month. So keep an eye on that list, eventually your games may become compatible.

    Please can you explain it? Actually, not all Xbox 360 games are able to run on Xbox One but a lot of them.

    Backwards compatibility does not work on the Xbox one!

    Try downloading the game itself from the Xbox Store on your console if that doesn't work, try downloading from xbox.com on a PC.

    Yes, that's how it is meant to work. Backwards compatibility is full backwards compatibility which means online play will work just as it does now. You'll be able to play other Xbox users, even if they are still on the original Xbox One.

    That does not help. I've even done a complete factory reset. It will read Xbox one games, but will NOT READ Xbox backwards compatible games THAT ARE listed as official Microsoft backwards compatible games. The games work fine on 360, all 25 of them but NONE work on the Xbox one x console, just the Xbox one games only.
