Backwards compatibility does not work for me- bundle only?

I cant buy the counter strike game on the xbox store. It says bundle only. I click on it and it says the game is not available...tried to go on the marketplace website and its the same problem. I also had this issue with Rayman 3 HD. I cant purchase these
games. Is it because i live in canada? Is backwards compatibility only for americans?

The last iteration of the Wii removed backwards compatibility for Gamecube games. They did this a year or two ago. The last bundle that had GCN backwards compatibility was the Mario Cart bundle.

Does anyone know why PopCap hits vol.2 does not work for the backward compatibility, but the games in it do.

 

Nope but you can't buy 360 games on the one console

If it is not available in your region you must correct it

Under accounts and change my region on the websites

 

It's available globally but your account regiom must reflect your actual region

 

You cannot purchase xbox 360 games on the xbox one yet. To get an xbox 360 game, you have to purchase from the xbox 360 store on xbox.com or on an xbox 360 console. Once you have purchased the game, then the game should show in the ready to install section
in my games and apps.

 

k thx. I guess backwards compatibility is essentially pointless then if it doesnt work on the one. I hope theu fix it one day smh

 

Backwards compatibility does work on the Xbox One, but you have to purchase the games either on the 360 or on the xbox 360 marketplace on xbox.com. Microsoft are hoping to be able to put xbox 360 games in the xbox one mnarketplace sometime in the future.

 

That doesnt seem to work. Ive been running into this issue too, with Pac Man CE. For one thing, it isnt even in the 360 store anymore but in the Xbox one store. I get it off xbox.com, it says it will be there ready to install, and I go to look and there
is nothing. Ive tried this a dozen times now, and its just not working.

I am also having the same problem. I purchased xbox one gears of war bundle. In ready to install no game is there and if i go to browse all game and pick gears of war 2 or 3 or judgement it shows bundle only and when i click on that it shows 'we did not
find anything'. What to do ?

YYoualready got the bundle gears ultimate and the beta code for 4

The other games was a limited time promotion not included with the bundle

The promotion is seperate

And it ended last yesr

If you bought and played before the end of last year and over 17 and not in Germany Japan or China then you would received the code's for the games assuming your account region must match you're actual region

And yes for those games they have to match

 

Does anyone have this problem? Some of my xbox 360 games that are backwards compatible show up in my ready to install page, mirrors edge, rainbow six vegas just some of the games that I have. But some aren't showing up like castle crashers, pac man, wolfenistein.
Does anyone know why? And I can't go one xbox store on the one because it says bundle only and if I go online it tries to make me buy it again.
