Backwards compatibility Black Ops

I have just purchesed an Xbox one. However I have Call Of Duty black ops Xbox 360 edition. Last night me and my brother managed to split screen online together but now have huge difficulty. Once our online account is signed in it gives us the option to press
'A' to add guest. However when we do so it states the account must have an online subscription?

Could someone please advice?

Call of Duty: Black Ops has never been "delayed" for its backwards compatibility release. The original notes stated that Black Ops would be "Coming Soon" to the Backwards Compatibility Program. At this point, we are still unsure as to when the games debut

Hey there,

To clarify, only one person on the Xbox One console needs to have an Xbox Live Gold subscription. This user also must have the console set as "Home" once this is done, anyone else who's signed in on the console will also share those Gold features. So if
you create another account for your brother, you should be able to use the online features without a problem. This guide

Well, from what I know, you either have no Xbox Live Gold subscription or you must use a profile. I hope this helps

When is Black Ops in backwards compat?

You can play Black Ops online on the One and you would be playing with 360 and One players.

Black Ops 3 is not backwards compatible on Xbox One, Black Op 3 is already available on Xbox One.

Blacks ops lll wont be on backwards compatibility as it was released on Xbox One.

If games have been released on 360 and on the One it wont be backward compatible.
