  1. Backwards Compatibility BFBC2 & BF3

Has anyone noticed on the XBOX feedback vote the following?

COD 2 has 19,968 votes. (Backwards compatible)

COD 3 has 20,051 votes. (Backwards compatible)

Battlefield Bad Company 2 41,116 votes. (NOT Backwards compatible)

Battlefield 3 50,460 (NOT Backwards compatible)

Does this mean the vote is irrelevant?

If Battlefield has twice the votes (actually more than twice) why isn't it Backwards compatible?

I've posted it on Twitter: RobsonBen if you fancy supporting my mini campaign.

No it doesn't mean that your vote is irrelevant. Microsoft ask you to vote, so they know just how many want the game to be backward compatible, then they try their best to get them backward compatible. At times games can take a long time to come on the
back compat catalogue due to legal reasons and whether or not the publisher allows them to put it on the platform.

It's irrelevant pretty much. Red Dead Redemption was like top 5 for votes or whatever yet we just got that just recently. Where lessor arcade indie titles were added how long ago. I've been waiting for COD4 as well since all the other COD's pretty much
been added. Yet COD4 is held back cause they made a re-mastered version and only bundled with the new game for $80 to $100. So the 360 COD4 probably wont see light of day. Also I been waiting for Medal of Honor Warfighter and Medal of Honor 2010, yet no
dice yet. Yet we finally got Medal of Honor Airborne. Yet I don't have that one naturally. Also no GRAW games yet or any Far Cry games. Well yeah the arcade game Far Cry Blood Dragon. But I want the real franchise Far Cry 2 to make maps. Took long enough
to get Rainbow Six games as well. Had to wait until Siege came out then them came out as a bundle. I thought with BF1 finally out we would of got some Battlefields by now. Even 1943 to just get it going.

    BC2 vs BF3 vs MW3 [multiplayer] - thoughts...

BFBC2 is the best. BF3 seems to be missing something. Seems a bit COD'ish but larger maps. COD is good for what it is so I am not comparing them. BFBC2 seems more balanced than BF3 IMO. But needless to say BFBC2 is a dying community. Vietnam is also
    cool.

    SERIOUSLY, DICE?

Don't like it, don't play it

[/quote]Agreed, but I also put it into practice. Come back to BFBC2, the servers are fine. I still try to join friends' BF3 games, but BF3 usually splits us up when I manage to. I played BF3 last night, and then played some BFBC2, BF3 is definately a step
backwards in gameplay. I'm not distracted by all the shiney gadgets DICE included, the core gameplay and balancing of BF3 seem unpolished and rushed. Too bad, EA/DICE may have made more money by including all the glittery gadgets to appeal to a wider fanbase,
but they turned a great franchise into a clusterfuck of bland gaming.
