    Backwards compatibility and progress


    Hoping someone can fill me in.

    I'm a huge Skate fan, and as it's available to play on XB1, I'm looking to download and play again. I've played it on 360, years ago - but if I played it again I'd want to be able to start from scratch.

    So if you download a backwards compatible game which you've played previously, does your progress and/or achievements start from scratch?

    MS are even used the Skate 3 game cover as a teaser on the Backwards Compatibility information pages!

    Well, you tricked me... I immediately bought the game digitally, but it turned out l still can't download/play the game.

    Part of backward compability in November 2015?

    Announced as an upcoming title for backward compatibility in December 2015?

    Still marked as "in-progress" in March 2016?

    Exactly WHAT is in progress, anyway?

    If you put your save on the cloud, then you would be able to start from where you were. Otherwise, you would have to start your game over. Achievements are saved on the servers so those would not start over.

    Backward Compatibility feedback is being ignored

    Its true this game was used in advertisements saying that this game was backwards compatible, and on the xbox site it was stated as backwards compatible, it was even on the xbox one store, and a month later it was taken down and changed to "In Progress"

    Skyrim is not backwards compatible. If you were to purchase the One version of the game you would start over as progress cannot be transferred.
