BACKWARDS COMPATABILITY UPGRADES R MISSING

I I am trying to find a downloadable upgrade so I can play an original xbox game on my 360. Game name is TENCHU RETURN FROM DARKNESS. Iv had upgrades before but everytime I look for them on xbox.com Icant find them its like im gettin the runaround. I
cant find any upgrades section! On xbox.com!!!!!! WTF!? So if anyone can help me Id be greatfull.

Missing Backwards Compatability

-I payed $80 for a new originally packaged copy.

-I'm not buying a used xbox. Last person I heard of doing that got a cardboard box with an X drawn on it.

-I've played plenty of original Xbox games on my 360 and so have my friends. This is first issue I've ever known of. Why would I research this?

I have dozens of them, if they are worth $80 a pop to you americans, they are going on ebay.

As Egg says, why on earth did you not check before buying it?

Since when can`t you buy old style hard drives cheaply, ebay is full of them.

As long as your console is up to date, you're using a an official MS hard drive, and you're signed into Live when you start original Xbox games, then there is nothing else you need to download. That game is not backwards compatible so it won't work on the
360. There is nothing you can download to make it work.

So if I understand you correctly there is no way possible at all to play this game on Xbox live? I understand that the game will not work on an Xbox 360, because it's not an Xbox 360 game. But, is there a way possible to play the game on an original Xbox,
and play that on Xbox live?

It's up to the publishers to make the games either backwards compatible or provide an upgrade offer. Generally if there is a 360 version and a One version, it's not made backwards compatible.

Backwards Compatibility is currently on hold while the team works on the Xbox Series X. Backwards Compatibility may come back after the release of the console, but until then, there are no new compatible games available. If you want the game to be made
