Backwards compatability - stick deadzone

Hello,

The deadzone on the sticks for backwards compatability is pretty massive. Im having trouble aiming in pretty much every shooter. This is not a problem with the x1 controller since x1 games play fine, nor was it an issue on 360.

Now that we have the ability to adjust control settings and remap buttons, could it include the ability to adjust stick deadzone? Currently there is no way to do so, and some of the backwards compatability games could really use some tuning in that area.

The Stick Of Truth is a game I would like to have with backwards compatability.

 

Have you tried updating controller go to Settings > Devices and accessories > click on your controller and if it says update you just plug in you controller via USB into your xbox and update.

Try adjusting your screen safe area and Resolution. You can also download the Controller Button Mapping App on your xbox and adjust more setting from there.

 

I recently purchased the elite, and it has been fully updated. Screen safe area and resolution have nothing to do with controls at all... Finally, the button mapping festure doesnt include deadzone adjustments.

All other xbox one games work fine. The games also work fine on the original 360 platform. The issue is clearly the translation of the 360 controls into the x1 controller.

Ive noticed pretty annoying input lag on pretty much every bc game. Shooters are hard to be precise as it makes the controls feel floaty and less responsive. I hope they fix it soon i hate the way it feels and i really want to be able to play 360 games on
my one like they are suppose to be.

Ive got it side by side with my 360 and borderlands is tight and smooth on 360 but not on xbox one. Same goes for gears of war judgement and dirt 3 and the sonic games too.
