Backwards Compatability guest function

Try this:

1. Make a non-Guest Xbox One account (make sure you are connected to the internet when you do this).
   
2. Sign into your account, and have your friend sign into this new account.
3. Boot up the Xbox 360 game.

If i am not mistaken Backwards Compatible games don't function as they would on the Xbox 360, There is some limitations to how the game works and functionalities to the UI

You will need to have two distinct profiles signed in to play backwards compatible games on local multiplayer. No guests.

Unfortunately, decision of a game to enter the backward compatibility on Xbox One is on the studios side. Microsoft need the autorization before put a game in the backward compatibility function.

It is understood that the issue being experienced here consists of an inability to add a guest in order to play a backwards compatible game on your Xbox One console.

The truth is that the ability to play as a guest is dependent on if the developer allows it.

For this game in particular, it may be that it was intended not to work in this way, as there are games that do allow guests to sign in and play.
