Backwards compatability disc exlusives

Hello,

I was just wondering if backwards compatibility games that require a disc will ever be able to purchased and downloaded in the store?

I would specifically like to download and play batman: Arkham origins & H.A.W.X (both require discs)

We understand that you have a question in regards to the availability of
Batman: Arkham Origins and Tom Clancy's HAWX as digital titles.

These games are available as digital copies, as all games through the
backwards compatibility list are available through both disc and digital, but the availability of purchase is dependent
on the request of the developer for the title to be distributed.

That would be something that would be up to the publishers/developers. I know a few games that were not available digitally have become digital since backwards compatibility launched, but I haven't seen any word on those specifically.

Is the disc for a backwards compatible xbox360 game as only discs for backwards compatible games will register.

The 360 version of Skyrim is not backwards compatible. You'll want to check https://www.xbox.com/games/backward-compatibility to see if the other games you're missing are backwards compatible or not. Anything on disc would just need you to put the disc in the console.
