Backwards Compat Games Break Party Chat

Anybody else having a party chat issue when starting an OG Xbox or 360 game on Xbox One? Everything was fine until around a week ago... now, whenever I launch an old game (The Orange Box is the most recent example), it absolutely destroys whatever party
chat I’m in and we have to create a new party and re-assemble every time. Not only does it disconnect myself, but it makes the party inoperable for anyone else in the party chat as well (regardless of what they are playing). Does not happen with any current-gen
games. NAT is Open and we don’t experience any other network-related issues.

Any fix or explanation as to what is happening would be greatly appreciated.

A couple of question:

1) You have Open NAT, but have you manually forwarded all the ports needed? because the console itself try to open the 3074 port using UPnP and if router succesfully open it, you have a false positive Open NAT but the rest of ports are filtered.

Obviously in your case you must attention also the Xbox 360 ports

2) This party issue happen when you are the host of the party? or party host is irrilevant?

I'm having a similar issue. If I launch any backwards compatible game, the party permanently breaks for me. It doesn't disconnect me, but it doesn't say I'm talking when I do and it says no one else is talking either. I tought it might have been a potential
bug with just Game Pass Fallout: New Vegas, but it turns out if it's digital or disc, it still results in the party chat not working.

Does the headset work on Xbox One Party chat (i.e. do you see a circle around your gamerpic in the party chat on Xbox One)?

Are only Backwards compatible games affected? If so, it might be that the Astro A50 base station acts as a USB microphone, which doesn't work as Chat microphone on the Xbox 360.

You might have to contact the Astro A50 support for information on how to use that headset on backwards compatible titles.

Yeah it works on the Xbox One party chat but yeah that's what i was thinking i might just have to get a old Xbox One chat headset for it to work.

Happens to me and my friends to.

Party chat glitches as soon the Xbox original/360 games are loaded.

Only the person thats playing a Backwards Compatible game cant hear or talk to people.
