Backwards comparable game won’t download from disc

This happens to you with other blu-ray? for example a movie or another game, you can try these 2 options to me they work for me, 1.- leave the disk inside the console and restart it, 2.- place the console
in vertical position and finally check if the game is original, Many times they resell games that they did not identify at the time but are pirates.

Are you still having this issue, or has it been resolved? If it was an Xbox server issue at the time, it should hopefully be working now.

The Xbox Live Status webpage shows that everything is all clear at the moment.

Xbox 360 backwards compatible games have been reverse engineered and converted to the play on the Xbox One platform. This is why, even if you own an Xbox 360 game on disc that is on the BC list, the Xbox One prompts you to download an update. In the case
of Xbox 360 disc games, the 'update' is the game. Due to the conversion, the download size of the game will be slightly different compared that on a 360 console. This normal.

Says disc is not compatable,yet on list of backward compatable.... I am attempting to install offline.

The thing is, that for Xbox 360 titles, the disc is only used as a proof of purchase. The Xbox One can't use any of the data from the disc, as the game was written for a different processor "language" (Power PC architecture compared to the X86/X64 architecture
in the Xbox One family).

Therefore, the console has to download the "translated" version of the game from the Xbox Marketplace, and this ONLY works while the console is online.

In addition to above when you insert an Xbox 360 disc for a game that is backwards compatible your console will need to download the backwards compatible version of the game from the Microsoft servers and you must keep the disc in the console to play the
game.
