backwards compact achievements and profile problems

only recently my backwards compact wont work properly i cant unlock achievements it says ive never played a game and each time i sign in to my account on the 360 dash says would you like to select a avatar like its a new account then after selecting relies
it aint and comes up with a error code 8007065b and thats something to do with my live not even the problem im having i was talking to someone and they said it might have something to do with being a preview member but they couldnt do anything about it and
sent me here and i tried someone else account and it work fine with them so its in my account just dunno what it is.

Same issue here, Nothing seems to work.

Was wondering if waiting for Backward compact to go live would help?

Getting disconnected from Xbox Live but only while playing backward compatible game

Hi Foniax,

This is an interesting issue. I would like you to try deleting and re-downloading your profile and the game, Just Cause 2, since it is just happening with that particular game. You can find the instructions for this here:

Please let us know if this resolves the issue.

Sorry to hear about the issue. If you haven't yet, let's have you try clearing your Xbox 360 local storage on your Xbox One console. Start at your Xbox One dashboard:

Open the Guide menu

Scroll down to Settings

Select all Settings

Scroll down to System

Navigate over to Storage

Select "Clear local Xbox 360 storage"

Additionally, you can try to
factory reset your console (while keeping your games and apps) and then trying to log in again.

Give those a try and see if it helps!

Unfortunately the game isn't on the backwards compactable list.

You're trying to download your profile onto your Xbox One that you used on your Xbox 360, right? If it is giving you a connection error, make sure your console is in fact online and connected to the network via ethernet or wireless (preferably wired if
possible). Then, make sure the information you are entering onto your One console is correct. To verify it,
try logging into your microsoft account here.

Also, It could quite possibly be an issue with the IP type available in your area (IPV4 vs IPV6) that can a failure to download the profile. Remember that the 360s back then only used IPv4 connections. Xbox One consoles can sometimes pick up and use IPv6
connections, leaving the 360 side of your console (the 360 dashboard) unable to connect. There's no concrete solution to this issue yet but you can try these:

1. Power cycle your console, router, and modem (make sure that all cables are disconnected for at least a minute or so)

2. Change the console DNS to your ISP's provided DNS or the usual 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 DNS to connect to a public DNS setting. Alternatively, if you do not want to mess with your console settings, do this on your router settings instead.

3. Clear your MAC Address (go to Settings > All Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > MAC Address > Clear Alternate MAC (this should re-establish a connection with your current network, however, do this only if your console is unable to connect the net)

Anything is possible, you just have to wait until the backwards compactable program accepts games again. Just be patient !
