    Backward Compatible games no longer work on my Xbox


    Hello, i have a problem with my Xbox One. Last night i installed Fallout 3 Goty and Fallout NV ultimate edition and played both to see if the dlc installed correctly. After this i turned the games off, then turned off the Xbox. Today i went to play Star
    Wars Battlefront 2 (2005) that was already installed on my xbox. It told that the game was not compatible and that i need to check the list of compatible games and recognizes the disc as an “install disc”. Now every single original Xbox and Xbox 360 game that
    i have on disc no longer works on my Xbox one. I have done the 10 sec reset, hard reset, and powersave then 10 sec reset. I dont know what else i can do can anyone help me?

    This game is not backwards compatible and unfortunately xbox are no longer making backwards compatible games as they are focusing on next gen and upcoming games

    Mercenaries is a Xbox Original game, I'm not sure if it can be played on the Xbox 360, some xbox original games are no longer compatible with Xbox 360 backward compatibility.

    Yes, you can!

    All Xbox One games will work on the Xbox Series X and S consoles. With some exceptions. Those would be games that required a Kinect Sensor to play as Microsoft no longer supports the Xbox Kinect. You can find that excluded list here: What games are compatible with my Xbox? | Xbox Support

    Other than that, literally every Xbox One game works!

    As for Xbox 360 games, there is a select list of games that will work on both the Xbox One and Xbox Series family of consoles, in your case the Series x. As an added bonus, there are also quite a few original Xbox titles available via the backwards compatibility program. A full list can be found here: Xbox Backward Compatible Games | Xbox
