    Backward compatibility Xbox one s


    I'm new to Xbox and have an Xbox one s. My son would like to buy Lego star wars the complete saga which is an Xbox 360 game. I see that it is one of the backward compatible games on the Xbox website. However, how do I get the game? Do I have to download
    it from Microsoft or can I buy the disc version from a shop? Thanks.

    Can you use xbox 360 discs on the xbox one s?

    u can use some games for the xbox one (any model not specififc the S)

    Think Xbox One, but "Slim". Xbox Live is essentially the platform (same Xbox One

    backward compatibility list     and screens and such), it is just the console gets some inside upgrades and new looks/features...

    Hi there. Good news. You can doe either, buy the game digitally here LEGO Star Wars: TCS
    or you can buy the disk version in a shop and use that.

    The $29 one you saw is the Xbox One version of the game which is backwards compatible with the Series S/X. The 360 version is not backwards compatible.

    As an owner of an xbox one s I do play xbox 360 games with backwards compatibility. The simplest way to explain how it does this is this: the xbox one essentially opens up the xbox 360 software to be able to play the games that are backwards compatible.
