Backward Compatibility Questions

When I got the Xbox 1 I sold my 360 and all of its games. As the backward compatibility list grows I will be picking up some 360 games for sure. My questions are: In multiplayer games like Battlefield or CoD do you get your rank and stats back? Are they
saved in the cloud? What about your old saved data for any game? Will it somehow sync with the cloud and remember where you saved a game last, say if you didn't finish it? Or is that data all gone because it was on the 360 HDD? How do I download the 360 GWG
on my 1? Can you buy 360 games on your xbox 1 thru the marketplace?? Thank you

backwards compatibility and Xbox Live

Question about backwards compatibility I get my xbox one Xbox Live through another account because its home Xbox is my xbox, thus I get xbox live. Will I still have the xbox live on the 360 emulator when I use backwards compatibility?

This is a great question! To answer your question any game listed on the Backwards compatible list will work on the xbox one you can find that list here

www.xbox.com/.../backward-compatibility In your situation you have to have the exact game on that list your best bet is to reach out to the game developer and let them know you want it backwards compatible. They don't know unless people like you tell them.

I would guess that since the Call of Duty stats server will assume you're using an Xbox 360, your on-line rank will be the same as when you last played. If EA allows for Battlefield 3 to be BC, the same would be true for that too. Remember that you can
play users that are on 360 consoles too via BC.

Unless you saved your single player games to the optional 'Cloud Storage' on the 360, then your saves are gone, since you no longer have an Xbox 360 and are unable to copy them to the Cloud.

There is no Xbox 360 game marketplace on the Xbox One yet. The only way to buy digital 360 BC games is either on an Xbox 360 or Xbox.com. If you can find it cheaper (and you should do), buy your 360 games on disc, second hand.

Free Xbox GWG titles will appear in your 'Ready to Install' list once they have been 'purchased' either on Xbox.com or an Xbox 360 console.
