Backward compatibility not working, trying to use blu ray player

I've played Black ops 1 before on the Xbox one using an Xbox 360 disc but over and over again it will try to launch the blu ray player then maybe after a week of trying every day, it will finally randomly launch the game and i will be able to play it. But
now it is doing the same thing and wont let me launch the actual game anymore and I can't quite figure out any definitive way to make it work. I'm not sure if there actually is a way to make it work so if anyone knows how this can be fixed it would be appreciated
    if you let me know.

    :)

    Hey there kylro2k10,

It sounds like the disc may be dirty or damaged and the console is thinking it's a DVD disc. Does this happen with all Backward Compatible games you try via disc?

My xbox 1 s can't read 360 backward compatible games

    TheBrandName,

Sorry to hear about your problem.

Have you reviewed this article on Playing backward-compatible games
    on your Xbox One
? It describes all requirements for being able to play these games. In addition to those instructions, have you verified the game is located on
the Backwards Compatibility Page? Keep in mind that the title and edition will need to match (Typically deluxe/complete editions are not
    compatible)

If you still believe the game should work after reviewing those sites, try clearing your persistent storage:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select System > Settings.
    3. Select Disc & Blu-ray.
The following advanced settings are available for the Blu-ray player:

    • Persistent storage

Use this setting to clear Blu-ray–specific data that's been cached to the console.

This doesn't seem right. Blu ray players play dvds just fine. PS3 plays PS2 games just fine. So an xbox with a blu ray drive should play 360 dvds just fine unless they go the route sony did and disable backward compatibility through software means.

Hunter: The Reckoning physical disc not recognized for BC.

    Hello Zandengoff,

We understand that the game Hunter: The Reckoning is not allowing access on your Xbox One console.

A suggestion is to try following our Playing backward-compatible games on your Xbox One article. One
    thing to try:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select All Settings.
    4. Select Disc & Blu-ray.
    5. Select Blu-ray settings
    6. Persistent Storage

Use this setting to clear Blu-ray–specific data that's been cached to the console

Give these steps a shot, and let us know if these work.

    Best wishes!
