Backward Compatibility | Locale issues

Hello,

I have an xbox one x, which was purchased in US and has store/region/location set to USA. However, when I try to make a purchase via backward compatibility, it quotes the price in USD and when I say, "buy" it shows the final price in INR(India locale).

Why does it change the locale at the last minute on its own?

I am not able to make any purchases due to this.

I was able to resolve the issue by migrating my account to USA.

Asking about a not yet released backward compatible game is not a support issue. If you need to talk to support about something call the local support agents for your region.

Not sure if this is relevant, but if it's a backwards compat game, region change won't work according to support page:

"Note If you’re trying to use these steps to resolve any backward compatibility account region errors, changing your account region will not resolve
these issues. These steps are only for when you’re moving and need to change your locale. "

You will need to have two distinct profiles signed in to play backwards compatible games on local multiplayer. No guests.
