    Backward compatibility issues - injustice


    we have purchased Xbox 360 injustice gods among us - ultimate edition on disk. Our Xbox one will not load game. We downloaded injustice gods among us (regular version) through Xbox web site. It will not load on our box one. 40 dollars down the drain. Any
    idea why our Xbox one will not load game. We have not had this issue with any other backward compatible games.

    Yeah, he didn't proclaim it was coming, it was more of a tease.. But you never know, maybe they are waiting to release it on Backward Compatibility, just in time for Injustice 2.

    Sorry to hear it. Have you tried loading the digital version you purchased to the console via My Games & Apps then Ready to Install?

    Based on the list found on Major Nelson's blog, Injustice: Gods Among Us is a backwards compatible game and the Ultimate edition is backwards compatible only with disc.

    Well, this all makes perfect sense now. I was curious about the same thing for Halo 4 GOTY Edition and Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition too, but these answers have cleared up some questions about backwards compatibility and their DLC.

    To clarify, are you connected to Xbox Live when you insert the disc? What error messages if any are you seeing on the console? Do you see that the disc is inserted if you check on the Dashboard?
