Backward Compatibility Issue

I have both xbox 360 and xbox one. I can play any game online on my 360 with a wired or wireless connection. I can play any xbox one game online with a wired or wireless connection. But I can't play a backward compatible game online on my xbox one unless
i have a wireless connection, and i prefer to use wired. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I already checked the game list before I posted this. And how can you tell if your HD was bootlegged or not?

Hey there jcstockton!

Sorry to hear about the issue! If the issue continues to occur, I suggest trying a few troubleshooting steps:

Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.

Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.

Unplug the power cord to your router, modem or gateway.

Wait a few minutes, then plug in your devices.

Power on your and try using a wired connection to see if the issue continues to occur.

Yes it is still backwards compatible. You can the list of backwards compatible games here.

I'm not sure why it wouldn't be working. Have you had any issues with other backwards compatible games before?

Unfortunately neither game is backwards compatible, probably due to licensing issues.

Are you able to test any other backwards compatible games?

Generally issues with backwards compatible games on the 360 is down to the hard drive. A lot of third party purchases of hard drives tend to result in the hard drive being a knock off which will not work with backwards compatibility.
