    Hello. My name is Vladimir.

    I have problems with my Xbox One. I cant get backwards compatibility games. I have Xbox live gold and I do it through Microsoft website. I get massage "Sorry: This offer is not valid in your region" for every free compatibility games. I tried get witcher
    2 for free, Deus Ex with gold and now I cant get Gears of War 2 with gold because my region. How it can be? I live in Russia. I have no problems with my account, payment and codes bought in my town. What is my location according to Microsoft?

    Hi AntonioMiranda7,

    Because of backward compatibility you will be able to join parties, join games but only the xbox 360 game you have started up.

    are you sure you didn't set up a us account>

    your account region must reflect your actual region

    you can check at commerce.microsoft.com

    if you have 2 regions listed you ,must use the region migration tool found under account on this website

    @ruloxp well you just stated the source of your problem

    Uruguay is not an xbox live region

    therefore the content isn't available in your region

    for the best experience with xbox live your account region must reflect your actual region

    since that's not possible you cannot get it

    My region is Russia, but it still not working. I just cant get any Backward Compatibility games.

    Finally, I fixed this problem. I don't have X360, X360 account and I have old Live account. So I install compatibility game and create X360 account and its works.

    Problem solved.

    While it is true that backwards compat is on hold. Every backwards compat licensing has to approved by the developer for that game to approve the ability of backwards compatibility. There are some developers unfortunately that will not allow there games
    to be backwards compatible .

    That game is not backwards compatible. You can find a list of all games that are compatible at https://www.xbox.com/games/backward-compatibility

    There is no way to request a game to be compatible. The backwards compatibility program ended in 2021, so anything that is not compatible, won't be.
