Backward Compatibility games cant sign into profile

Im trying to play my backward compatible games on my Xbox One but every time I load one it says I need to sign in first. It pops up for me to download my profile but when I do it just tells me to test my network connection. I cant do that because it just
takes me to my Xbox One setting and its connection is all fine. I have tried every solution in discussions I have found, like hard restarting, deleting local Xbox 360 storage, changing DNS settings plus rebooting. Even tried rebooting my own network but nothing
is working I just get the same issue. I would really like a solution to this if someone has a fix.

Make sure your password is not longer than 16 characters. 360s including the emulator on the Ones do not like password longer than 16 characters.

and

If you have two step verification turned on either turn it off or use your app password.

When you load up the 360 dashboard hit the X button to sign in.

Have you tried removing then adding back your profile?

I agree I've had the same issue and removed it from my profile and downloaded it again and it seemed to fix the issue.

I had the same issue the other day. When it prompts yoi to sign in to a xbox Live profile you need to select download profile then sign in with your Microsoft account then it will link the two. I had this with rage 1. For some reason now they need to link
as the xbox live servers arent open anymore.

When you launch a 360 game, have you pressed the View and Menu button at the same time on the controller to bring up the 360 dash and signed in that way?
