backward comapatibility

does anyone know if skylanders spyro's adventure ,giants and swap force are going to be added on xbox one? we have an xbox one with the newest skylanders games for it and my sons 360 has just died but dont want to get a new one because its pointless now
we own an xbox one. we own all the old skylanders games on 360 and now have an upset child , please if anyone knows anything can they inbox me

Currently there is no word on if/when the game will be backwards compatible.

 

why are they adding all the pointless games and indie games etc but i can't play my physical disks on it? its not really backwards compatible , why dont xbox just let us play all our 360 games on x1

 

The publishers have to allow the games to be come backwards co patible, and there have been issues with some games not working properly so they can't be released yet. It's just not that simple to add games to the console.
