Hey so im trying to play modern warfare 2 but it never lets me sign in so i did the xbox support troubleshoot to clear local xbox 360 storage and now when i try to re download my profile it just says cant connect so i literally cant do anything anything
i can do beside reset router and redownloading game cause that doesnt work

as R4GE vKiwi has mentioned, try resetting your Xbox and see if that fixes it

Try re-downloading your Xbox Live Profile while on an Xbox 360 Game.

First, load the game of choice, (in this case, Modern Warfare 2), then, simultaneously press Menu, and Select, (the two buttons to the right and left of the middle home button), this will bring up the Xbox 360 Interface.

if you already have your profile installed, dont worry. Simply press X to sign out, then, hit the option labeled “Sign in”. Scroll to the bottom until you see “Download Profile”. Input your Xbox Live info to sign in, and let it download. Try to log in again,
and if it still does not work, i recommend contacting Microsoft Support at the following link.

There was issues downloading things earlier on xbox it may also be affecting accounts right now also

I'm sorry to hear about your backwards compatible Modern Warfare 2 not working for you. I would first suggest resetting your Xbox console.

When you reset your console, go with the [KEEP MY GAMES AND APPS] option.

After resetting your console, you'll need to reconnect to your network, get the latest console update and redownload your profile.
