Backup Xbox one data

So lately my xbox one has been acting up. So i want to backup all data on it. Ive invested a lot of time into as many have and I'd hate to see it all be for naught. Is there any tangible way of backing up my xbox one? If so id like step-by-step instructions.

Hey Loin75, that data on the xbox is your backup all on one single file.

Sorry but there is no way to get your level back to 45. I recommend that you make a backup of your Player Data either on a USB or on Cloud storage. This way the next time you get reset you can just delete the corrupted data and add the data backup in so
you'll have your rank and all that was saved onto the backup. Here's a great thread explaining more about making a Player data backup.

If a power cycle isn't helping your Xbox One console woes, you can try a full
factory reset by selecting "Reset and keep my games & apps" to see if that helps resolve the issue. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.
