    There should be a Microsoft application similar to androids zegde that allows you to change the background on your Xbox one or 360. I know I can use a USB data stick to do it but it would be cool if you could just search an image of interest then automatically
    down load it to your Xbox.. And I wish Xbox one and 360 synced like Google devices do.. Like you had the option to use your 360 profile pic and background on both of them that would be awesome and super simple to program..

    Background downloads not working after upgrade...

    Just turned Background downloading off. Then turned console off and noticed it was doing its background download. Turned console back on and it shows background downloads as being turned on and is working ok now. Go figure.

    How old is your TV?

    Is it hooked up via HDMI?

    Have you tried turning off background downloads then shutting the console off, restarting the console and turning background downloads on?

    Not at all. You probably have background downloads turned on. Background downloads means that your console will finish syncing or any downloads you have in the queu will finish completely before the console finishes turning off.

    Sorry you're having issues changing your background picture. Try following the steps here and settings your background to an achevement or something off a USB drive.
