    Background Music Bug


    Thank you for incorporating new music; we like it very much. I especially enjoyed hearing the Skyrim theme during that particular demo; unexpected – though loved it nonetheless! Background Music Bug :eek:)

    During normal playing a nice pleasant rift plays along and then suddenly will go completely silent, like the audio just stopped in mid-stream. Not a show-stopper, though mildly annoying, and surprised this was not picked up by QC.

    Can not hear the coach's voice in Xbox Fitness

    Since the latest console's update, I can no longer hear the coach's voice in xbox fitness. I reinstalled the xbox fitness and calibrated the kinect, but nothing worked. The background music and SFX music is all good, except the coach's voice. So I assume
    this is a bug for the system. Please issue a patch to fix this bug. really annoying.

    summer update background music is a joke

    That's preview stuff like background music should of been done before the update was ready to go then people like me won't be on here going mad over a simple update that promised background music if anyone agrees please do rate. I am a gamer who virtual
    wants what was promised in a update, not 3 - 6 days later once the update is done and programs are ok with the preview members and xbox staff for bugs. if something in a video states that background music is available but is not released when the update hits
    then don't mention it.........

    In the new update it stated "Background Music: Today’s update brings the ability for the highly requested feature of Background Music, which lets you listen to your favorite music in the background while gaming on Xbox One. The Pandora app, launching soon,
    is the first of many partners who will support Background Music, with Groove Music, iHeartRadio and other apps coming later."

    Pandora is coming soon, as stated in the update release. However, there is one current App that will work with this function called CAST, it is a free music app. You can use this now until the other music apps are updated to work with the new Background
    Music feature.

    USB Flash Drive not being Detected?

    The Xbox apps do not currently support playing music from a USB drive for background music. There are some 3rd party apps that have this ability like Simple Background Music Player.

    Absolutely! Just hover over the top-right corner (or if you're on a tablet, swipe from the right) and that will bring up the charm bar. Choose Settings and then Game Options. In that menu you can adjust not only the music but also the voice and the sounds.

    Also, the Simple Background Music Player app can't read a majority of music file names. Most of them are blank unless you manually edit the ID3 tag information for every single track.
