    Background download


    This is regarding Flight Simulator 2020.

    It's crazy that I have to update the game from within the game. Like most game platforms, allow me to download and install updates in the background. I am consuming more power because I am using my GPU just to show a static background while the update downloads.
    This is standard practice. Come on MS. It has been downloading all day and still not finished.

    Xbox One download speeds lately are SUPER SLOW

    Are you backgrounding the download?

    Puting it i. The background generally will slow any download down

    Especially a 50 gig download

    When downloading something yes you can background download it but it will slow the progress down if you play a game while downloading

    A 10 gig will take 2hours in the background

    Hi goose troop,

    I just wanted to add that if you're downloading through an in-game menu, sometimes it will revert to the old style of downloading, where it ties up the system.



    To get around this, once the download has been started, add it to your download queue from your
    download history, and it will continue downloading in the background.
