Background and color

Since the last update I lost my dashboard background, color and tile transparency settings. It's stuck on the default black background and blue tile color. When I change my settings, they do not take effect. I tried a hard reboot and it did not fix the
problem.

Xbox One Dashboard background

In order to change your background, follow these steps:

On your home screen go left and select Settings > All settings > Personalization > My color and background.

Here you can change the color of the tiles and background.

If you want a solid blue color, just select it by scrolling right.

This should fix it!

Edit: Does it change when you select a different color?

 

Avatar Background Color

nothing you do on Xbox One will reflect on Xbox.com. at least not yet. so whatever changes you make you won't see them here. well if you change your Avatar's clothes that will reflect. but gamerpics won't. at any rate, go into your profile on Xbox One
and then choose edit Avatar .. you can set the background from there.

 

Transparency only works when you have custom or achievement art selected as background, Try setting an achievement as a background then change back to solid background colour of your choice .

 

I just had the same issue, was recommended to turn off high contrast option through: settings, ease of access. Hope this helps your case.
