Back4blood error need help

Cancel the game installation and follow these steps.

1. Logout from Xbox app and Microsoft Store app

2. Look for the Xbox app and Microsoft Store in the Windows bar, right-click, click app settings and then click terminate, restore and reset. Do this with the game too.

3. Clear the store cache type ''wsreset'' in the Windows bar, run as admin, and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.

4. Open the Microsoft Store, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner ''download and updates'' and click on ''get updates'' and update everything.

5. Login with your account again in both apps and try again.

Hi Sam, thanks for the reply, yes I did infact do this after I made this post last night - I used the windows updater tool and brought my system to 21H1 but it has not fixed my issue, my games still wont download - although it did automatically download and install solitaire

I thought, maybe I had the wrong game pass, so even upgraded to ultimate, but it hasn't worked either.

if there are more troubleshooting steps we can try I would be keen to, as really was hoping to try B4B with some friends later this evening

I have also tried these steps as I am having a very similar issue, although with no pop-up message, I get the error code 0x87e00017 when downloading the game

I fear that it could be related to my windows updates which have also been failing for some time, due to my AMD processor (if reddit is to be believed) - however my version are more than enough to run the game I am on version 1900 of windows at the moment its the update to 20H2 that fails repeatedly.

I have tested my xbox live connection in xbox networking under settings, and it shows as connected, up and running, performance fields populated, and NAT open and server connected.

I am at a loss here, this is the first post I have made on these forums so forgive me if this is bad etiquette to pile on OP - but brand new subscriber to game pass, and honestly about to forget the whole thing as it just refuses to install anything

I tried DISM and SRC - SRC said it found corruption and fixed it, restarted the system, tried all your steps again once more - and nothing

The suggestion from LorenzoCanta fixed the problem I was having with Back4Blood. (Error 0x80070032)

Finally got rid of the '0 bytes downloaded' message in the Xbox app.
