    After a long Hiatus from console gaming (i have a gaming pc) im once again returning to the xbox world on wednesday next week....

    It just seems the right time to go and play xbox, being a pc gamer for the last two years im missing out on some great titles like the forza series, arkham knight and of course Halo among many others. It looks as though there is some great stuff coming and
    i want IN. Cant wait for MGSBack to Xbox one :pP. Plus you cant beat gaming on the couch.

    Now, my point of this conversation.

    Does anyone know of any good deals for the xbox one...

    Game seem to be all out of the Arkham and Witcher 3 bundles (i have witcher 3 on pc so not really bothered if i get that or not) I just want to walk in to a shop, get a couple of games (second hand maybe, forza 5) a play and charge kit and of course a decent
    bundle. 500gig console is just fine and ill add a external drive later on.

    Also, has the new consoles got the Xbox pad and the 3.5mm headset jack, or are they not around yet.

    On the note of no progress, it is HIGHLY debatable that turning the Xbox into an STB is progress...you know those things that have been out for years M$ basically ripped off? (To use your logic on how things roll)

    Instead of looking at Steam, why don't you go and take a look at what Microsoft already has.... Games on Demand. It is terrible.

    To get the 3.5mm headset jack you need to get the 1TB version of the console which should be out already, or you can just buy the new controller.

    As for good deals, you just missed out on a 70game/dlc sale a week or 2 ago

    If I were you, I would wait until the holidays. I have a sneaking suspicion there may be some great bundles then.

    Halo MCC Bundle is always a good one to start with. In my opinion.

    I don't get why it wont stream media from a pc when i can stream my whole song library off my smartphone no problem, i can stream my movies from my sd card through the video player, all i can guess is you have to find a way to stream it through to the console
    like my media players doing on my phone other than that i don't get why its hidden away/not doable :/ I've just put my playlists onto a micro sd with stuff i wanna watch/listen to through my box, tho the application wont tab away without closing so i cant
    really multi task my music its music and nothing or loads of things no music so still cant do away with the laptop yet lol

    Not a biggie really as i just play games but i could see how it could irritate people if they use that feature heavily

    A lot lies ahead.. both consoles were quite rushed to make it for the holiday season. Things are like support for audio from HDD, external HDDs and a whole lot of other things have been said that they are on their way, they just didn't make it for launch.

    .

    I suppose also potentially the backtracking with the original vision caused them to having to re-prioritize a lot of things, causing many of these "obvious features 360 already had" to be implemented later.
