Back paddles don’t work

I just got my Xbox elite series 2 controller and the profile light doesn’t turn on and the back paddles won’t respond. I’ve updated my controller and made sure the presets were saved but nothing worked. Help?

Edit: found out the center button isn’t for screenshots or clips it’s for the profile settings my bad

elite series 2 controllers back paddles won’t work

Highly recommend elite pads even if you don’t use the paddles purely for the diamond grip and hair triggers

Glad you were able to get a new controller. Mine came from Amazon and they are out of stock. It is a simple fix of just needing a new paddle, since they other paddles work in the slot the bent paddle was in, and the bent paddle doesn't work in the other
slots.

It's not the paddles, the paddles work fine. It's the button the paddles touch, it won't work. I pressed the little button and it does nothing, it's assigned and everything, the button clicks too, but it won't say I pressed anything and won't work.
