Back compatibility games I have played aren’t free or ready to install...

Hopefully I’m not wrong in asking for support rather than going for a discussion rant of how it’s ridiculous that I bought splinter cell conviction on 360 and it expects me to buy it again. I even have achievements and at least 30 hours in the game and I
suppose that I’m gonna have to buy the game as well as the dlc.

Backwards compatible

some digital games that I can play on Xbox 360 and that say can be played on Xbox one aren’t on my ready to install and makes me pay for them at the store

will license transferred 360 games carry over to the xbox one's backward compatibility

if i or a friend licence transfers a 360 game will it be on xbox one's backward compatibility ready to install list if available

If this is still an issue you're experiencing, did you purchase Splinter Cell Conviction on disc or digitally? If you purchased it digitally, what do you see for that purchase in your
Xbox 360 purchase history?

If you owned the game on disc, you would still need the disc to continue playing.

It would appear ready to installed only if your purchased it Digitally and it is Back compatibility game . if you have physically then put the disk in and it will it downloaded again only if it is back compatibility game

360 games can be played with or without gold. One games require that you have a gold subscription in order to keep playing them for free.

As far as the other game, if it's a backwards compatible game, it should be in your ready to install section of your games and apps.

My guess would be as it was a free game anyway it's probably on everyones ready to install list when it was made backwards compatible
