Back compat not working?

Thanks for coming back to the forums. What Steeledwand was mentioning does not involve making a purchase for the game. We do not recommend purchasing this game if you have the Disc for it.

He is saying to have the Disc inserted in your console already and then search for it in the Store. In theory, the store would recognize you have the disc in and let you install the game from there.

Aside from that, a quick power cycle usually does the trick Just like Javier stated above.

So do I go to buy it and will Xbox take it from there?

Try this also put the disc in and search for the game in the store.

The store should see the license for the game on the disc and allow you to download it from the store on the console.
