    Back button not working on Twitch App


    For the past week the bank button doesn't do anything on the Twitch App. Eg if you search for a game then want to go back to search, you can't and have to shut down the app.

    Twitch Sever Unavailable Error

    My Twitch app on my XBox is being weird today. When I was watching a stream I follow it keep on stopping with the Twitch Sever Unavailable Error keep coming up and now I went back into Twitch to see if it working it didn't go to the Twitch home page and
    the same error came up again. Can someone help?

    Xbox One Twitch App Viewing Issue

    Just tried using the Xbox one twitch app and it's still not working. Twitch works on every other device except the latter. I do appreciate your efforts on a fix. Hope this gets resolved soon.

    same issue tried uninstalling it but it didn't fix issue also streams won't start when pressing the A button

    Hi

    This sounds more like an app specific issue and it might be best contacting the app developer (Twitch) to see if they know about this issue and can fix it.

    You can't chat on the Xbox or Playstation with twitch chat. They changed this a while back. You have to use a phone and the official twitch app to chat. You can read chat but you can't type without a phone or tablet.

    Also when they made these changes, they completely broke the twitch app for Xbox. You can't change resolutions and most of the time you cannot open or close the chat window, the buttons for these functions don't work at all. Again, these changes were implemented by twitch and they're the ones who make the application. I'm not sure why they removed the ability to chat directly from the consoles and TV apps but that's how it is now.

    Hi there. Have you tried reinstalling twitch ?

    First, disconnect the app from Twitch, delete the app data on the Xbox and finally uninstall and reinstall the app. Do exactly as follows:

    1. Disconnect the Xbox connection from your Twitch account on your Connections page.
    2. On your Xbox, select the Twitch app in My Games & Apps.
    3. Press the menu button.
    4. Select Manage app.
    5. On the right under SAVED DATA, select the appropiate gamertag.
    6. Press the menu button.
    7. Select Delete saved data.
    8. To uninstall the app, find the app, press the menu button to open the app menu, and select Uninstall.
    9. Reinstall the app.
